The Itinerary from Chicago to Kathmandu

I am heading to O'Hare shortly to begin an approximately 31-hour journey from Chicago to Kathmandu. Here is a map of my 9,259 mile route, from Chicago to London to Bahrain to Kathmandu:


I think that 31 hours is a record for me. Eight of those hours will be spent in the Bahrain airport, so if anyone wants travel advice on the airport offering of restaurants/shops/restrooms, I will be happy to oblige.

I wish that I could take Brian as a stowaway, but he will be following me in just a few weeks after wrapping up things in Chicago.
