MIT CoLab Radio

A few days ago The Kathmanduo was invited to contribute to MIT CoLab Radio, a blog that is part of the MIT Community Innovators Lab, or CoLab for short. According to CoLab's "About" page, "CoLab supports the development and use of knowledge from excluded communities to deepen civic engagement, improve community practice, inform policy, mobilize community assets, and generate shared wealth." CoLab Radio, in turn, "describes how that vision happens step-by-step, story by story, in communities."

The Kathmanduo
is honored and excited to be a part of this initiative, and our involvement kicked off yesterday. First, the pigeon photo first displayed here now appears as the banner on CoLab's home page. Second, my very first post about resigning from my job has been recreated on CoLab's site here. CoLab will publish some other select blog posts that have already appeared on The Kathmanduo, and you can check back on their site for new material that we contribute in the future.

Finally, we will also participate in CoLab's photo series by contributing one photo per week.

I encourage all of you to hop on CoLab's site and explore great posts and photos related to urban planning and beyond.
